Jessica joined HAI | Legal in May 2022. As a historian, she conducts historical research and supports content development for a range of corporate, community, and government clients.

Path to HAI

Prior to joining HAI | Legal, Jessica worked as a professional genealogist and family historian. In this role, she used historical records to travel through time, detective work to solve mysteries, laser focus to document findings, and storytelling skills to bring ancestors to life (metaphorically speaking). Her research covered records from most of the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, and Slovakia. Jessica previously worked as a freelance information consultant where she generated and delivered content through websites and graphic design projects for a variety of businesses and non-profit groups.

Jessica earned her Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Drexel University and her B.A. in international studies from American University in Washington D.C. She grew up in a military family and has recently returned to the U.S. from two years living in Dublin, Ireland.
